You’d sit in the waiting room for hours while seriously ill people were taken back and helped.

Doesn’t paranoia count as an issue? Or any mental health ****.

They might send a qualified person from psych unit to check on you. They’ll help to evaluate if a person needs to be admitted to psych unit. People wont be diagnosed with paranoia in ER though

I cannot stand anything scary. And yes I’d be scared out of my mind if I saw something scary. But I don’t have paranoia and don’t need to be admitted to the hospital. Being scared after watching scary movie doesn’t necessarily mean you have paranoia and even if you suffer from paranoia, you might not need to be in the hospital

Yes mental health is an issue. But it doesn’t always warrant hospital stay. Person might be better off calling their doctor, seeing their GP, message their therapist, call their psych etc and see what they say first

It was ok last night. I thought about it once or twice then I distracted myself. I’ll talk about it in therapy tomorrow. I think maybe I just didn’t want to be alone at night instead of actually in the ER and I knew the ER was filled with people and bright lights.

I hate the noise and bright lights of the ER. So unsettling.

It's the only place I can nap because the noise is so constant that nothing is startling (as long as I'm not in the dungeon)

I was in the basement one time when I had pneumonia and a staff said “I didn’t even know this part was used for anything.”

Oh I thought it was a hypothetical question. Not about you considering it. Glad you are distracting yourself

I avoid scary or upsetting things. As I get older I can’t handle it. I once read something so horrifying online that I cried on and off all day. Not good. I am better off focusing on uplighting stuff

Why are you seeing angels? Is it psychosis?

It might have been. I found out I’ve been taking 60mg of Geodon instead of 80. Which was probably the cause of all my issues this week. I feel fine now that I’m back on the 80mg.

My mom claims that didn’t happen. But I feel a difference today. But I did go back on my Wegovy this morning.
