I need some advice. My mind will continuously replay conversations in my mind, mostly conversations in which I feel challenged or embarrassed. Any thoughts? It’s a nice Saturday afternoon and I keep dealing with these intrusive thoughts.

This sounds like rumination:

Constantly replaying past conversations? Here’s what could be going on | NOCD

There’s some suggestions towards the end of the article. For me it’s about awareness, catching myself in those thoughts and challenging myself to put my mind on something else.
Thanks for this!

Good article. Thank you for sharing. Yes, this completely sounds like me. I’ve been spending a lot of time today trying to refocus.

It’s not easy I know, I think it’s good to accept and acknowledge the thoughts which is what I try to do rather than getting upset with myself.
