My NP forgets way too much and I don't get it. She's forgotten all doses I've been on last year and constantly asks if I want to take doses I've been on before. I don't know if she does it intentionally. I don't know what to say to her but I constantly tell her these doses make me tired. I've never had a dr this forgetful.

My nurse has a computer that tells him everything I've been on and at one dose

No. I had a primary care who was like this. I quit her and left a bad review. I shouldn't have to put that much effort into it.

Forget? No, they have a lot of other patients. Not have access to the information in records and rely on you instead? Sign of bad care.

My dr shocked me last weekish when he asked me how my housekeeping was doing. I mean yeah, hoarding is on my dx list somewhere, but it really made me feel seen. Then we bickered over whether to change the doses of my diabetes meds, and given that i was off ozempic for a month and hadnt lost any weight in the last 3 months, i was glad he agreed to leave it alone.

So yeah, no excuse for that behavior. Its all in front of them, neatly displayed on a screen.

My PCP reviews my chart with me, but sometimes I remind her about some things that aren't so obvious on the chart. For instance, I don't do the colonoscopy; I do Cologuard instead.

And I don't expect her to know every detail such as dose. Nor do I expect her to remember my medication history, such as meds I've taken but no longer do.

But she has a sense of who I am, and my family and situation, which I think outweighs these details. For example, she's willing to prescribe a Schedule IV controlled substance. I asked why and she said "I know you. I know you are good."
