This week I begin my final three allotted therapy sessions. I do not know if anything will come of it in terms of ongoing help thru some other means. I am the one doing the interpreting during sessions, which is right because his interpretations won't be as accurate. But what I know about myself has not resolved my problems. I am not able to fix this, but also why would anyone else be? I am best equipped to fix it but I am also least equipped. I'm worried that I will just be left to figure things out same as when I started.
Thanks for this!

That's what the last few therapy sessions usually discuss. They try to help you have a positive experience with the transition and review what has gone well in therapy that you can use in life going forward. If the therapist doesn't bring this up I would, and early in the session so you have time to work things out.

so you know? they don't just leave you out of the blue showing up for a session but you just never have an appointment again? Wild....

I just had my last therapy session and I wasn’t sure it was my last one till I got there. We had a good last appointment and she had an envelope of papers to make the transition easier. I can take one of her groups, too, if I want.

I haven’t been in therapy for 2 months. Took a break. Next session in June.
