Nammu, I'm beginning to question if I will get it. I've always had PCs and this is a MacBook. They came out with one that is a lot cheaper because it's geared for students and is perfect for my needs. However I've spent all afternoon trying to learn how to operate this. Some of it has gone great and some of it it making my hair turn grey faster than it already was. I'm making a list of questions for my sister who has had Apple computers for a long time. At least it's something different to think about and do. The change from routine is good.

Ahha! I figured it out and next time I'll be able to copy and paste. I also finally know how to reload pages. Now I just have to figure out why the pharmacy site keeps saying I didn't enter my birthday when I clearly did. That's not the Mac, that's something weird with their website. I could probably limp to the pharmacy faster than it's letting me sign up. I think I'm tired enough now that I may get to sleep soon. More learning tomorrow!

I'm so grateful I'm not teaching this last period because I am drained from teaching Periods 1-4 then having a yard duty. Enjoying the solitude at my desk with a nice cup of tea.

Good morning! I slept 8.5 hr but the last 1.5 hr was all broken because Pecan was walking & pouncing all over me, relentless in her efforts to get me up!

It has been very rainy here, and now some tropical system is forming on the Texas coast. I think the Houston area is just under a tropical storm watch, but H's university is closed today & tomorrow at least because it is in Beaumont, TX which quite close to the Louisiana border. My daughter only just got in her college orientation as it was yesterday; she is going there for her degree. I'm glad she didn't have orientation set today or tomorrow.

I have an appt. with my PCP later this morning. It's still rainy but not that heavy like the absolute deluge we had earlier this morning. It's just a routine checkup/physical though I want to ask her if she will order an x-ray or possible other imaging of my left foot. I know I absolutely jammed my bare foot earlier this year, but I didn't notice that much in the way of pain beyond the initial pain. However, since I started Cymbalta again a couple months ago, the neuropathy has subsided in my feet, and I have some kind of pain in a couple toes/upper foot; I don't know it just feels like something isn't quite right in there. It's not awful, but I have pain when I walk to varying degrees (seems to depend on the day). It's not debilitating, but it is annoying.

The good news is the depression/dysphoria and SI has finally stopped. It went on for about 2 weeks after coming down from hypomania due to lack of sleep triggering it. So it’s been about 4 days now and I feel fine and am back to my normal self. I still have my appointment with my psychiatrist tomorrow just to update him and see if we can go back to 30mg of Strattera now that I’m sleeping much more than 3-4 hours a night. He said once my sleep and mood stabilizes we can probably increase it back to 30mg. It helps my focus so much and I have no side effects from it. Really grateful for it.

Today I have Bible study with @LadyShadow and since her birthday is next week I sent some gifts, some of which will arrive to her today and I’m excited for her to get them.

All in all I’m doing good

Though I am tempted to reschedule my appointment. If I’m feeling stable what’s the point in having an appointment tomorrow. Why not just move it back to where it was before, on July 2nd

I finally had a good night’s sleep after weeks of struggling. I feel rested, calm, and focused. The melatonin I took last night helped.

Today’s “to do” list includes mowing the front yard and washing my bedding.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Done with my PCP physical. Everything just fine. She is going to order an x-ray of my foot. Otherwise I had to have referrals to all the specialists renewed so the insurance won't put up a fuss about paying. Nice that the patient has to manage it all!

Now I just see the pdoc tomorrow. It should just be a routine visit.

@BlueBird94 Since you have the pdoc appt. tomorrow, you may as well keep it. It's worth consulting him.

I slept well. My dreams took me to China last night. Woke up kitty crossed on my bed. I don’t remember more than I was in China but it must have been an active dream. Usually I wake up in the same position I went to sleep in. But I feel rested.

Gonna just stay up in my apartment today and read. Gotta get this book read and back to the library. Supposed to rain off and on all day, so inside is good. Not a tsunami like blueberry is getting, just brief showers.

I’m having problems again with MSF website. It’s not letting me send hugs or thanks for some posts. It also kicks me off to a black screen. I don’t even know if this will go through.

Me too. When I want to post something it goes to a black screen I push back and click again to post and it tells me I’ve clicked twice, but it does post.

I am now officially off lithium! Had to wean down over 2 weeks. Pdoc increased my abilify from 15 mg to 20 mg a day. Didn’t have to take it this morning. I got paranoid when I was going through my thyroid issues and he listened to my concerns - doesn’t mean he agreed with my concerns haha.

We have something similar...once they got used to it, they ALL 4 now perfer it to a regular water bowl! None of the cats drink from the regular bowl any more. Most of them drink from the spout, except Licorice...she drinks in the "bowl" of the little fountain. It was such a hit, we ordered a 2nd battery so we can rotate them so they don't have to wait for the old one to recharge. I'm sure Ariel will get more & more curious about it and start exploring it soon.

@Crazy Hitch I'd like to be off lithium too though I have to admit it really curbs in my habit of overspending. I hope all goes well for you!

That’s good that it curbs your overspending. I’d stay on it then if it were me. @Blueberrybook
