I am beyond upset, I can't believe how broken our Health Care system is. I have been struggling for YEARS since I moved to North Carolina to find a therapist, and what happens when I FINALLY found one?

He is going to be out-of-network as of 2027 -

Maybe the government thinks I have money for that?

OR maybe they are full of damn crap.

I am angry, pissed, scared, upset, EVERYTHING. I have made SUCH progress with him this year.

Now, I have to say goodbye.

EFF you damn insurance.

I'm sorry, it sucks so bad. Finding a therapist is so hard especially when symptoms are on the more difficult side.

Thank you for your posts, guys. I am mourning over my therapist, but it's almost at the stages of grief period at this point, and I am nearing acceptance. I hate it with everything in me, and we didn't have enough time to work together at all, but he DID provide with lots of tools to work with, including implementing my daily practice that has SAVED MY LIFE honestly.

I would love to write these big fascist insurance companies and say - why would you stop service to a provider that saved someone's life???

Oh @LadyShadow, I'm so sorry. It is so hard to find a good therapist; I went through dozens of them before finding my therapist offering remote therapy as she's out of state. Insurance companies SUCK!!!

@LadyShadow I'm sorry this is happening to you. Is he able to refer you to someone with similar practice strategies? From what you were describing the other day it sounded like he's done a lot of CBT with you. Could he help you find someone else who does this?
