The only thing i can see that you did "wrong" was ask a question of another member. The rules of the site are to offer support to someone, or ask for support for yourself. Dr Phil would call asking such a question, "taking someone's inventory." If you havent been involved in 12-step meetings (like Alcoholics Anonymous) you wouldnt be aware of this. We are not here to "analyze" other members' issues, unless somebody directly asks for it, but that never happens!

I don't think it's fair or correct to say you're not wanted here. The person or persons you got crossways with don't own the site nor do they represent anyone on the site other than themselves.
I read your posts and I can't see where you did anything wrong.
I don't speak for anyone else of course but I think unaluna wasn't saying you actually did anything wrong, hence the quotation marks around the word "wrong." You seemed to have offered another member an unwelcome insight.
That in itself isn't wrong but it is not something most want or expect. As the site name suggests, this is a support site. Problems usually arise because people have different views on the definition of support. That is about as much as I can say on that.
If you really want to leave the site, follow the advice of Crazy Hitch. I can understand your wish to leave. I feel the same just about every time I visit.

I too see nothing that you did wrong. You asked a legitimate question coming from a dialogue. You admitted that you yourself struggle with that and you were trying to relate.

Pls don’t let one bad response drive you away.
