I've been in that black hole @Singer2 You're not alone in there so don't be afraid. I've been in it short term and long term but eventually I get out. I'm here with you.

I hear you @Singer2 - that can be so frustrating to not feel motivated.

I have to sleep more and eat healthier (less carbs more protein and no sugar or intoxicants) when I feel like that. I have got out of it before and will again.

I think the only way out of it for me is to accept it. I am depressed and instead of depressing myself more with a lot of topics that I need to do to come out of it, perhaps the best is to only put up a few things that I have to do. Today I will only empty the dishwasher (has not been emptied for a week). Perhaps I can fill it again tomorrow.

My to do list for to day are: eat healthy (but easy to prepare), do a few gymnastic exercises, empty the dishwasher, go for a small walk and take care of myself.

I feel more calm today, because I lowered the standard for what I expect myself to do. When I posted the first post in the thread I felt like "exploding" because everything felt impossible to manage.

Thank you for caring!

The day has been hard! I felt OK taking it easy in the morning, but became tired later. I was at a cafe just relaxing (felt OK), but became too tired. Low energy when I bought my groceries. At least I was able to NOT tell myself that I was an idiot that could not manage more.

Later on I have relaxed with YouTube videos from the Faroe Islands. I liked it. As far as the video said, people felt a sense of belonging there. Families that stayed together. Good!

I was too tired to empty the dishwasher. I don't know how to say it; I am still depressed, but not so tense in my muscles.
