I keep changing plans like cancelling appointments or changing them to remote. But I do it because of freaky my blood pressure gets and I don’t trust myself in the shower when my blood pressure is like 144/101 like it is tonight.

I don’t know it I’m avoiding stuff like the shower out of fear,, or if my anxiety is justified because I feel like crap

Your BP is way too high for your age. Are you not taking meds? If you do take meds and it’s still high, then you need to talk to your doc about dosage and also address your diet. Do you eat a lot of sodium?

I started a blood pressure med the other week. I have an appointment at the end of month with a electrophysiologists which is some cardiologist specialist. I don’t know what she’ll want to do.

I would change plans more based off of how you're actually feeling rather than based off of numbers. I mean if your blood pressure is already pretty high, not boiling yourself in a shower as hot as you can handle is a smart idea, but nothing wrong with a lukewarm shower at that point. And don't put your body under physical strain you know it won't handle obviously, but going to an appointment or whatever I wouldn't think to do that.

I mean your fear is understandable, but if you feel up to it, you can do it.

I woke up feeling like I have the plague. My blood pressure is fine. My pulse is high. I woke up early so I might be able to push myself to get in the shower in a couple hours.

I have to take two kind of meds. One at night and one in the morning, otherwise my blood pressure is up in the morning. Maybe that’s the case with you.

I think shower is fine with high BP. Just not too hot
