The thing I got was originally less then $3 but they sold out immediately. The seller was asking $26. I made an offer for $20 and he rejected it. So I found another seller for $23.
Idk why the first seller wouldn’t accept my offer. Why jack up a $3 thing and then not accept $20. He is still making a good profit

Because the seller knows he can get what he asked. In the USA its called capitalism.

He doesn’t have to accept $20 if he can make more than that. I don’t think it’s called greedy. He isn’t demanding anything of you or is stealing anything.
He can put whatever price he wants. It’s up to buyers if they want to pay. Sellers do it for profit. They won’t bother with selling on eBay if they can’t make whatever profit they can make. |

Now the seller put the item at $26 with $16 shipping. It was free shipping before. Weird.
