My mom said it was really scary and kinda like covid. I saw that some guy had to live in an iron lung for 70 years. My grandparents rushed my mom and my aunts and uncles to the hospital as soon as the vaccine was ready. Of course I’ve been vaccinated. My parents vaccinated me for everything.

Franklin Roosevelt had it so it must have been scary.

I was born after the vaccine was developed. So have no personal memories of the epidemic, but heard stories from my parents and grandparents. It was very scary.
