Yesterday I got sick all of a sudden. I started dripping sweat and my blood sugar was 61. I asked my mom to turn on the AC and she said no.

I get it’s her house but if someone is having a medical emergency and are sweating badly then shouldn’t she have turned on the air on even for a few minutes?

She also has money so it’s not like it would have been expensive to turn it on for 5-10 minutes

MD, I have hypoglycemia. When my blood sugar gets low, 61 is very low, I have symptoms like yours. Rather than turning on the a/c you needed to do something about your blood sugar.
Thanks for this!

Unless you live in a tropical climate, I’d say AC in March isn’t needed. Is it already hot where you live? What was the temperature inside your house that it warranted AC? Do you have a fan? Good fans are helpful, and could you wear lighter clothes?

But most importantly please look into blood sugar situation.

I did eat a bunch of twizzlers and a few juice boxes. Then my blood sugar went up to 197. Then an hour later it went down to 108. Today it’s 124 and I feel fine.

I don’t know why it happened. But I was very tired and lethargic all day. I got a painful shot in my knee so I think it was just stress.

I had shorts and a t shirt on. I took my shirt off for a bit. I had the fan going and the window opened.

MD, Divine is right, you need to have your blood sugar checked out. Wild rollercoaster ups and downs are not good. It can definitely cause fatigue and lethargy.

I’ve been thinking since 2019 I’m developing Parkinson’s. My therapist said I was just chasing zebras. Now I am having more and more symptoms. So idk. I took my blood sugar yesterday afternoon and it was 149. I was sleeping a lot of the day. My mom finally turned on the air after I started suddenly sweating. I’ve been asleep 6 hours and I’ve woken up 3 times sweating from vivid dreams.

AC is cheap when it's cold outside.
