We're in the middle of a brutal heatwave. Yesterday was 36 C which I think translates to about 96 Farenheit, but it felt more like mid 40s, 110 F with the humidity. It's awful. Going outside feels like you're stepping into a sauna and I don't have air conditioning so trying to sleep is nearly impossible.

Is anyone else stuck with this awful heat dome?

I am stuck in it but I do have AC. The only thing is that my A/C struggles to get to the second floor where my bedroom is. So the second floor is about 82 degrees. Awful. I keep the windows closed to avoid the humidity.

I do have a fan but it doesn't do all that much.

Where I am I think I only have one more night of it.

I feel sorry for everyone impacted by this. What y'all describe is a typical summer day in Florida, maybe even cooler than us. We expect it though. Please take care of yourselves.

I had hoped / planned to be skinny for the heat this year. Im halfway there. So maybe next year. I am just taking a lot of breaks whenever i get too heated from moving around. I need to find my battery operated fan in case the power goes out. Its small but as long as i stay still while it blows on me, its okay.

It was here for a couple of days. I stayed in, didn’t go outside at all.we had alert warnings days that the real feel was 100F plus. Mu AC struggled to cool the bedroom. I left my curtains closed. But the heat dome moved on from here. I hear it’s going to be in DC and the east coast for July 4th.

Europe had one earlier and hundreds died because they don’t have and don’t want AC
