Hazel went in for her annual checkup today. A lump I asked the vet about turned out to be a mast cell tumor. Some of you might remember the nightmare BG and I went through with his mast cell tumors. They eventually contributed to his death. Hazel is scheduled for surgery Friday. Between my iffy mammogram and Hazel having a tumor I'm working on not freaking out.

I was wondering if its because she's a florida dog, but it appears more related to breed than geographical location. It just said treat earlier rather than later. Hugs for our girl.
