I tried Concerta 18 mg, extended release, prescribed by my sleep medicine doctor to promote wakefulness. It did that, but did it too much. I could not sleep during the night afterward, not until 3 AM, and today, one day later and already not on Concerta, I am still not sleepy when I normally would be already sleeping.
Is this insomnia a showstopper, or will my brain adjust over time if I keep taking this new drug?

I'm sure my experience because I took it for ADHD was different, but I think I was on the same dose and I'm pretty sure most of my sleep was little naps during the day at the library.
