I have three MAJOR problems: 1. Exrtreme itching: eyes, scalp, and skin in various places on my bodys; 2. Parkinsonism; 3. Rages, extkreme irritibility, screaming.
I did searches for all of these and they are ALL rare side effects of Lexapro. I see mys pdoc tomorrow. I am CURED!! Now I won't have any psych meds after we taper me off Lexapro. It's hard to believe that NO DOCTOR/S have put two and three together, that these major health issues are NOT REAL but are side effects. I have seen my pdoc; my pcp; two urgent care doctors; and at least one visit to the ER with these things. I had to figure it out by myself. How I did it: I did three Google serarches: "Can Lexapro cause rages?" "Can Lexapro cause Itching?" "Can Lexapro cause Parkinson's?" All three answered YES

Well lets hope it's as simple as that @WantToShare. I didn't know you had Parkinson's. My mom had it so if you ever need to talk, I'm all ears. Did you see my post to you about the wind up alarm clock?

I met with my pdoc today on Zoom. The med thingy is not as simple as I thought. Seems I have made some unilateral decisions to stop certain meds. Things have been really mixed up. She pointed out that I have had some good periods of calmness/serenity, so she recommended using Gabapentin, Lexapro, and a low dose of Lamictal. I'm convinced. Very soon I will have a 2/x a month nurse who will manage all my meds for me. They are very complicated, as you can imagine. Love, WTS
