I don’t know any Girl Scouts but my therapist is selling them. Is it taboo or whatever to ask her if I can buy a couple boxes?

most mental health agencies and treatment providers have rules and regulations about money, passing hands and paying for non therapy based things. check with the mental health agency your therapist works with. they will tell you whether its possible.

in general girl scouts (children) sell girl scout cookies not therapists. and its not usually done at mental health agencies. its usually done door to door (children and their parents walking in their neighborhood knocking on doors) or in grocery store parking lots, store entrances.

Around here it is entirely usual for people to buy girl scout cookies from parents/co-workers/office staff etc selling them for their girl scout. I honestly do not know of any girl scouts who still go door to door. We have girl scouts in our neighborhood and they have signs with a qr code to take a picture and order with no human contact at all.
