I wrote a review about my pdoc and my old therapist. I said my pdoc was prescribing meds irresponsibly and was gas lighting me. Both things my new pdoc and current therapist told me he was doing. Not just stuff I made up. Then I wrote a review about my therapist and I called out her dishonesty, her weird Covid protocol, and that she blocks clients on Facebook.

Idk if I was too harsh. I just said what was true. No one has responded to my review yet.

What was her Covid protocol? Blocking clients on Facebook is likely ok? Is this her personal social media account?

No. These mental health "pros" get away with murder. They're all malpractice cases and control freaks.

She still has not returned to the office. It doesn’t even seem like a Covid protocol anymore. Just her not wanting to return to work.

I did write really good reviews about another therapy place I was at and the hospital I had my surgery at. So I hope they can see that they really were the issue

Therapist is absolutely correct in blocking a current or former patient on FB. Why are you even looking at a therapist’s FB? Covid was 6 years ago, doesn’t matter now. A lot of people had weird beliefs at that time.

I’d be careful about accusing someone of “irresponsibly” prescribing medication if you have no proof.
Thanks for this!

I do have proof. I have a new doctor who looked over my records that were sent over. She was the one who said my meds were being prescribed irresponsibly. I didn’t think that until both my therapy and my doctor said that’s what was happening.

And yeah maybe I shouldn’t be looking at a therapists FB. But isn’t it a bit strange to be looking up a client on Facebook?

Was she looking you up? You said she blocked you. She probably did see that you were going on her account or something, checked who that is and blocked you. That’s her right

As about tele medicine or tele therapy. Some people like virtual sessions because their schedule or lack of mobility doesn’t allow them to go to the office. Many appreciate it. Some providers like to work from home. If these arrangement isn’t suitable for you, you just find a different therapist. I don’t think it’s a valid complaint.

Idk. All the therapists I’ve mentioned it to since her said she was the weird one for blocking me. And none of these other therapists ever blocked me.

If it’s personal social media account it’s entirely her right. It might seem weird but it’s not a valid complaint about her as a therapist. It’s not like it’s related to therapy she provides. It’s personal preference.
