He won’t fix his own meals. He doesn’t do his own laundry. He doesn’t even clean out his own ears. He is perfectly capable of learning these things. When I ask help with something I get read the riot act
My mom is 74 and my brother still can’t do anything. He doesn’t know how to use Walmart plus and order groceries. He doesn’t know how to order meds from the pharmacy. And my mom won’t teach him any of this stuff and she gets mad at me when I bring it up. I don’t want to have to take care of him when she does and I don’t get why she would won’t teach him to do stuff before it’s too late. Now my pulse is 102 because she got me worked up |

It’s like every Friday night he gets a pizza fixed for him. Just himself. I don’t get asked if I want any. It’s just for him. When I try to bring this up to my mom she turns it back to me and starts going at me about stuff that has nothing to do with what we were talking about. And she never apologizes. I always end up the one feeling bad.

Oh, there's someone I'm interacting with who is very much like your mom! 😮
