List the behaviors you need to react to and brainstom some options until you find the one that's right for you.

Let other know if you want suggestions on options from them as well.

I do not understand whether you mean the behaviors in others or in ourselves. Is it about changing a set pattern of one's behaviors for a better set, or is it about reacting to actions or words by others that we don't like?

Like yesterday, i found myself overtalking a neighbor i used to be pretty good friends with. I didnt have the time or inclination to listen to her windbagging about MY stuff. Some people just talk too much, but i am starting to realize they are not all my mother!! My chiropractor is a much-talker, but i get the sense that he LOVES my responsiveness. Things went better with this friend, tho, and i felt appreciated for the funny person i used to be and maybe still am! I love a fast give and take conversation.

Similarly with my eye dr appt yesterday. I used to be so inhibited at appts, even with my long term (30 years!) GP, who referred to himself as Dr Fabio (Long story, lets just say theyve both seen my tatas). Now, not so much. I just ask my questions. I AM a different person, a. Since my mother passed and 2) since this site trained me!
