Does anyone else have a fear of sleeping? How do you overcome it or get through it enough to sleep more than half hour maybe an hour at a time?

I believe mine stems from a combo of
  • being punished with violence for oversleeping as a kid
  • Fire alarms going off frequently growing up/usually just from drunk stoned man (who fell asleep with lit joints/cigs so fire was my no. one fear as a kid) making bacon
  • The only time productivity (schoolwork, chores, showering without being walked in on) was possible was 2am-4am ish
  • Later on guys doing horn dog things to a woman (me) in my sleep—three were pretty violating and one was just fking weird
  • And I think it got aggravated even more when at the state hospital I saw them wake up my roommate by rolling her over and pulling her pants down and injecting her with Zyprexa. I hate how much that affected me because it didn’t even happen to me but honestly it makes it worse because I have more compassion for her than myself
